English Cocker Spaniel

English Cocker Spaniel, breed of hunting gun dogs. Bred in the 19th century in Britain, where in 1902, was approved by the breed standard, has lost its power at the present time. Very popular dog has a keen sense of works both in water and on the toe killed or wounded game.

Head with three-dimensional, purely fashioned skull, the muzzle is square with a distinct change from his forehead. The nose is big, black, with well developed nostrils. Eyes slightly convex, round, dark brown or black in color tone. The ears are long, drooping, wide, adjacent to the cheeks. Chest deep but not too broad. The tail is set on slightly lower level of the back, stopped by to 1/2 lengths. Coat tight, shiny, silky, straight and soft. Color varied: black, brown, yellow. With a solid color, black dogs must be free of brown or reddish-brown tint, white on the chest is permitted, although not desirable.
