Origin. It is believed that the ancestors of these dogs were Japanese Spaniel (from Korea), pug (from England) and Maltese (from Italy). This breed is named in honor of King Charles II, who introduced the fashion of the English Toy Spaniel.

The ears are long, covered with long hair hanging down on cheeks. Hair long, straight, silky, longer on the legs and tail. There are four varieties of King Charles Spaniel: the actual King Charles (black with a bright-yellow markings), ruby ​​(red-brown), Prince Charles (white, yellow, red and black) and Blen-heim (white & red) .
