Austrian Hound (Brandl-Brakk) (Austrian Brandlbracke, Austrian Smoothhaired Hound, Carinthian Brandlbracke), breed of hunting hounds. Bred in Austria. In the past, black and tan hounds were widely distributed in many European countries.

Brundle-Brakk - a descendant of the hounds, which he inherited from the amazing feeling and the ability to work without a voice on the trail of a wide range of game. Outside of Austria, the breed is almost unknown.

Austrian Hound - strong dog with the free movements. Height at withers 46-59 cm, weight 23 kg. The characteristics of the breed: the flat hanging ears, deep chest and dense coat. Only tan color, white markings are undesirable, but acceptable.

If hunting this dog is full of energy and enthusiasm, the home is calm and quiet. Its coat needs very little maintenance, but Brundle-Bracco requires regular exercise.
